The Vespa is so much more than just a scooter. It is a global cultural phenomenon. Credited during the post-war revival, it became a symbol of freedom and elevated Italian design the world over. Even today, it remains on display at New York’s MoMA, capturing the hearts and minds of all who pass before it!
Spontaneous, simple and zippy, the Vespa has long attracted and inspired creative talents from all around the globe, sparking collaborations ranging from Dior to (RED) and Sean Wotherspoon. Even at the ripe old age of 75, it remains as contemporary as ever, ready to play its part in creating a more vibrant and positive tomorrow.
The Vespa 75th sports all sorts of details that make it a true classic, such as its special “Giallo 75th” metallic yellow paint finish, an interpretation of the colours that were so in vogue during the Forties. A special badge with the series name on the rear of the shield is another celebratory touch that marks this momentous occasion.
The rear luggage rack in gleaming chrome features a round bag made from soft, velvety nubuck which is a nod to the spare wheel covers of years gone by. But it’s far more than that, with its easy fastening system it’s a versatile and handy accessory.
Vespa’s iconic soul meets its more modern counterpart. All models over 50 cc come with a 4.3” full-colour TFT display with integrated Vespa MIA to offer the best infotainment package of the range. The GTS 75th also includes an icon-based navigation function.
The special livery features a grey Grigio Fumo nubuck saddle with piping, grey-painted diamond-cut wheel rims and a host of chrome details including the decorations on the classic “tie”, the GTS also comes with foldaway passenger foot pegs.
