The Vespa Primavera Sean Wotherspoon is a special limited edition, destined to capture the hearts of anyone who enjoys playing with fashion and who embraces daring style. It is the ultimate expression of the creative energy that links Vespa and Sean, together with their shared love of colour and experimentation that anticipates tomorrow’s trends.
“Who’s ready for the craziest Vespa they ever seen?!?“
The Vespa Primavera Sean Wotherspoon’s livery perfectly captures the artist’s love of colour and 80s and 90s style, with its unabashedly typically Eighties garish combination of yellow, red, green and aqua displaying its joyful irreverence and carefree disregard for niceties.
Since its inception, Vespa has always gone for the strength of steel and this bike is no exception, with its hardwearing metal body featuring a striking red plastic footboard with the anti-slip strip in blue rubber.
For the saddle, Sean opted for a light brown ribbed velvet with white piping and his distinctive logo, a true street artist’s tag that also appears on the scooter’s front, alongside the classic Vespa logo.
The rear of the body is customised with an original graphic featuring the Primavera logo special graphic that repeats itself in a tapering design. The Vespa Primavera Sean Wotherspoon is powered by a 125-cc single cylinder, 4-stroke i-get engine with electronic injection.
The entire scooter is a joyful kaleidoscope of yellow, red, dark green and aquamarine, with flourishes of white in the form of the iconic shield “tie”, body silhouette and wheel rims which also feature the Vespa logo, engraved and repeated. Completing the look are the headlight frame, luggage rack and passenger handle, all in a chrome finish, together with a dash of black courtesy of the handgrips and muffler cover.
Sean Wotherspoon is a rising star on the US fashion scene, an unstoppable experimenter and vintage fanatic, with an extraordinary approach to melding fashion and colours. His calling card? Playing with colours, mixing them together with innovative materials and assorted fabrics, as he did with the Nike Air Max 97 which made him famous.
The collection features not only the bold colours of the Vespa Primavera Sean Wotherspoon, but also the much-loved Vespa stylistic elements and themes, with the introduction of a new interpretation of the iconic logo that sits alongside the artist’s signature.
